This “Blue Pottery of Jaipur Ceramic Flower Design Diya” is another masterpiece created by Blue Pottery of Jaipur. It is a shallow, bowl-shaped diya made from a unique, low-fired, non-clay material. The interior of the diya is a solid cobalt blue, with a hand-painted design of a single, central yellow flower that has a brown circle in its middle. The exterior is also painted in the same deep blue, and the piece is finished with a smooth, glossy glaze. The hand-painted, floral motif is characteristic of traditional Jaipur blue pottery.
